We are a small group of Hamburg residents who got tired of reading the same recycled travel advice about St. Pauli and the Alster. This site is our attempt to write the guide we wished we had when we first moved here.

Every article is based on personal experience. We walk the routes, eat at the restaurants, and ride the ferries before recommending them. We have no advertising partnerships and no sponsored content. If we mention a place, it is because we genuinely think it is worth your time.

The site launched in early 2025. We publish new articles roughly twice a month, focusing on practical information rather than top-ten listicles. Our goal is to help visitors spend less time planning and more time exploring.
